Anor simple weekend =)

and so it was anor simple weekend for us...*grinzz**

ok, Drea ish feeling a little bad here for sneaking out on Friday nite to **show face** at some Thai "tio" at windsor hotel for a while w de ingram guyz. but i'm glad it's just for a short while and i managed to sneak back in time..wahahha

Drea actually managed to get out of bed early on a Sat morning to have Breakie with 怪叔叔 ok! *prouds**
he was actually planning to have BK breakie and then he realised that he's never tried KFC breakie before...so there we went!

Super sumptuous and ultimate filling breakie we had had, lolx.
1) Congee
2) Twister breakie set
3) waffles breakie set
4) egg tarts

no wonder zhuvan was blogging abt how couples actually put on weight together..muahahaah...




tadah! we had steamboaty @ crystal jade with his friend + wifey + bb....
the weather forecast was BULL SHIT LA! supposedly to be a uber wet weekend but de weather for de weekend was kinda warm loh. heng crystal jade ish air conditioned...hehe...

and oh, just a note, the crystal jade at TPY doesn't come with the 小笼包..shucks so BO HUA LOH!!!
the one at Holland v ish so much better man.

and here comes Sunday!! din din at home with mama cooking her signature CURRY! heh, bb zavier is over at my place too....
dinner was all so yummilicious...*slurps**
i'm glad 怪叔叔 enjoys the dinner tooooo....
but sorry ar, yours truly here doesn't take after my mama, she's a great cook and a great baker. and i'm entirely the opposite.

but well, i'm sure i should have been born with some of these talent too, if i put some effort in it..ahahahhh..

tadah! bb zavier holding on to the spidey toy i've bought for him...hehehe..glad he likes de toy lehxx...

bb zavier growing bigger n bigger each day, getting fleshier n fleshier too...and it's kinda tiring carrying him ard..especially when he wants you to walk around the whole place!!! Geeezzz......姑姑 very tired lehx..n me no milky for u to suckle also...stop aiming at my boobies..WAhahahhha

the long week =(

hmm, somehow the week seems soooooo long, it's passing oh boy so slowly...
was it due to the excitement of looking forward to the weekend that seemed to slow down the passing of time?

Can't wait to spend a relaxing Weekend with him again! wootz..
BB Zavier is gona be at my place again on Sunday and the 怪叔叔 promised to come over for dinner tooo...(not like he has a choice la..*hiakz hiakzz**)

Mama's cooking curry chicken...yummy! so looking forward to the weekend.

Just when i was close to giving up, my boss spoke to me, and yes, it did help in increasing my morale.
She promised there will be a pay raise for my confirmation which will take place in 2 weeks!
though it will not be the min. amount i've requested for, but it may come close!

*keeping fingers crossed**

but the 怪叔叔 is sooooo greedy loh, not only is he gona make me buy him dinner..but Supper too if i'm getting a raise...maybe i should keep to myself if i'm really getting a raise. LOLx

a Simple Weekend

it was a really simple weekend, promised someone that the whole weekend will be catered for him..after a statement my sweetie BFF made the previous week. heheee...

anywayz, Friday was a Girl's nite out w dearest BFF & Debs! yummy dinner at mulligan's and as usual, nectarie dessert there after...oh and all the more as usual, we can't finish the food ordered..WAHAhahaa...

check out the belated pressie done for her...10 yrs of friendship and still counting! reckon it's easier to DIY sth for her...since my bff is de kind of, never needing anything that money can be bought..hahaha



took me some time to complete this man, not easy compiling like 100 over photos taken the past 10yrs and the hardest part of it was looking for the High Res ones!
Zhuvan. now u know why i was asking you for the higher res photos for some..heheee...

it was a relaxing friday night tea-ing n "caking" with de girls, though i was kind of stoned de night lolx. & thanks for trying to keep me company so that i will not step into lunar hor.
but Drea has all the preserverence she needs okz! Trust me! hiakz hiakz...

and so, the rest of the friday to sundays were spent with a special someone, as promised!!

Saturday was a NUA day, doing nothing but NUA other then going out briefly for meals..hehehez...& i get to buy a nursery songs CD for bb zavier!

Drea ish so blessed she gets to see BB Zavier on Sunday with the company of the special someone too!
and that sums up the quiet, simple weekend.

Went to Bro's place to order pizza for dinner.

Being a blessed, spoilt princess, Bro even bought Ben & Jerry's for me..!! yummy..
not to mention the whole tub was gone la. Chunky Monkey with peanut butter..YUMMYyyy.....




BB ZAvier getting chubbier and chubbier each day, he slept most of the day. given the uber cooling weather, it's hard to remain awake loh...
when he's actually awake, he was so smiley and chucky looking at his FAvourite 姑姑， and half the time staring at the 怪叔叔 lolx...

Weekends used to never make much of a difference to me, but now it adds on to a different meaning altogether.

I'm loving it~!!!
thank you for coming to see BB Zavier with me...i get the best of both worlds! woohooooo....

little updates...

went to visit BB Kaelyn last week together with de zhus, this little girl has grown to be sooooooooo pretty!! i shall bring BB Zavier to go sian her when they're slightly bigger..*hiakz hiakz*
i've already shown my Bro Princess Kaelyn's photo n got approval liaoz...LOLx..

mama has been saying how uncanny BB Zavier n my bro looked alike. when we took out the baby photos, BB Zavier looks exactly like my bro! gonna put my bro's baby photo out and compare with BB Zavier's side by side..


But in the meantime, mama dug out my photos and said that actually cos me n bro looked pretty alike when i was a baby too..so i did this...

that's me n BB Zavier's photo...look alike meh? other then the same high forehead, small eyes n round face...hahaha..n oh..not much hair too...

Nostalgic

Was at Maxsoft's office yesterday, they does all the Nintendo, PSP, Xbox games stuffs.

and saw this!




Super nostalgic right? Super Nintendo! and the huge box in the middle I think it's like the first generation of the nintendo.

That reminded me, we used to have an identical one of the one on the right, it's known as Super Famicon but can play nintendo games as well. it's like a japanese version of Super Nintendo.
Direct from Japan back then and it was a Xmas gift from Yamaki San....oh how technology grew over 20 years..

Still remember the game CONTRA? lolx...
back then when the game catridge doesn't work, u'll do this.

1) first u rub it
2) then u blow it
3) lastly, u insert it in

alrighty, somehow it sounded very wrong especially coming out from me! wahahahhah...


impressive collection they have, even the super duper old game boy to the joystick and things like that, ain't able to take a proper pic of those though, they were all blocked by their cartons..Zzzzzz =___=

grrrr....lil apple was involved in a 3 car collision and being hamburgered in the middle.
talking about swayness, just when u are kind of broke and such things happen..
the thoughts of having to rush to the workshop and have all the claims done and settled and having to burn a hole in my pocket really depressed me very much.

maybe they were right, lil apple could be sway, could it be a colour? or the carplate?

either way, perhaps it's really time to sell the car.

but knowing myself, will i get accustom to taking the public transport once again after close to 4 yrs plus? even before i got little apple 2yrs 7 mths ago, i've been taking cabs most of the time.

what a failure after this few years.

Nitty Gritties @ Work

Was helping to pick the lucky draw winners for our COCO! magazine (manga for kids).
and these were the few forms i've picked.

I didn't realised something till our writer made this comment -
"How come all the forms you picked are either written in pink or red?"
lolz, this is called natural instinct, bo bianz one!

Look at the super wordy form in red on the left, i picked this boy partly cos he is so uber cute la! that part was for them to write their comments or draw. and so he did this mini composition on how one fine day, he was at the NTUC with his mum when he saw a copy of COCO! and surprisingly the copy was unwrapped, he flipped through and yadda yadda so the story goes.
It was really like a mini composition he did with descriptive words you know! after all the writing he ended with 'so sorry for such a lengthy comment' I just have to let him win!

Of cos I let the following kid win too, cos his cartoon is just soooooooo cute.
Natural creativity with a sincere heart. it might be simple, but it actually brought a smile to my face.
Kids are such an amazement.


And you know what anor kid did? he wrote "COCO! Rocks" and then he drew a HUGE PIECE OF ROCK below and even an arrow pointing to it and say "rock". ( i didn't manage to tak a pic of that form though)

and this, i had it pinned in front of me, my senoir designer says 'to motivate you' kekez.
it's really a joy reading and looking at the works of children, minus the difficulty of having to decipher their handwritting.


I guess my boss is right, these are the little little inspirations and motivation that we get from their work. Reading their comments and looking at their picture can be such a joy.
A simple mind with their directness, no reading between the lines needed at all!

i'm so sure if i'm ever gona have a kid, i guess i'll probably have their drawings pinned up at work too, for inspiration and motivation!
