Doraemon Trailer

Doraemon the Movie: Nobita's Mermaid Legend in cinemas 9th December 2010!
Available at all Cathay Cineplexes with the exception of The Cathay.

Join Doraemon and his friends in the underwater world along with all other fishy characters! Not forgeting Sophia, the princess from the underwater kingdom.

Personally I've screened this movie 4 times and not didn't fall asleep at all.
Just as how it was like with the usual Doraemon series, there's always a meaning and morale behind each story.
kind of humorous in this series too when alot of them mistaken Doraemon as a blue puffer fish.

Movie is in Mandarin with mandarin subtitles.

Why is this movie so special? it's specially made to commemorate the 30th Movie Anniversary of Doraemon. Coincidentally, it is also Doraemon's 40th Birthday this year! =)

de uber sinful Long Weekend~!!

ay what a sinful long weekend, i had steamboats twice! lolx...
the first time round with at Xian De Lai cos my usual favourite too long Q at Zhong hua steamboat...

not satisfied enough, Drea went back to Zhonghua on Saturday..hehez this time round much earlier at 5pm to beat the peak hour crowd...
poor uncle des had an overdose on Steamboat over the long weekend.

tadah, went for steamboaty on Thursday after work..with Mr. Shi An too....Zhonghua's steamboat Q was way too long so we head down to Xian De Lai instead.
Xian De Lai is not too bad just that the soup ain't as nice as Zhonghua's plus tons of MSG! after a few bowls of tom yum Drea got to stop as my neck is hurting from the overdose of MSG alrd.
The good thing about Xian De Lai is that the Hum's are all peeled for you. but the drinks are not included in the package, you pay about $1.80 for a can of soft drink loh. that's the killer.

it's a lazy Deepavali nua-ing at home. both uncle des and drea ish feeling so nua that we ordered pizza for dinner instead of eating out..hehez...
tried their Cheesy Pizza...VERI YUMMY n CHEESY lehzz....*yumzz**

Xian De Lai steamboat still failed to satisfy Drea's steamboat craving, so...down we went to bugis again to attack Zhong Hua steamboat! woohooooo....absolutely yummilicious.
The soup based is almost MSG free la, i can drink n drink the tom yum soup to my heart's content!!!

of cos this is a MUST HAVE to finish off the steam boat meal. Yummilicious Durian shavings from Ji De Chi! uncle des is satisfied with Drea's recommendation of both places and food that night too...*happy*** just that he claimed he will not eat steamboat for the rest of the year already...ahahhahaha...

Bought Edamame to boil at home..it's way so much cheaper! a huge bag for only $2.95 and you can nua at home, watch tv and munch on them. a healthier option compared to chomping on chips right?

that marks the end of the super lazy long weekend that past way too fast..it's back to work again.
to make monday blues worse, my boss just informed me that i've to go up to KL to her tomorrow when i just stepped into office on Monday Morning...

so there, Drea ish flying off to KL again tml....with just a handbag and will be flying back tomorrow night...haizz....meetings meetings and more meetings.
Doraemon is gona give me an overdose soon.....

the previous weekend - Bro's bday @ Goodwood park

the previous previous weekend was Bro's Bday. we had a wonderful family high tea time @ goodwood park.
though the price has increased tremendously and in my own opinion, even though it has one of the best English High tea and biggest spread around, it's not really worth the $40+++ per pax.
I can top up a little more for a decent International Buffet at other hotels loh. =X

anyways tot of posting it here since i already have some pics posted in fb..might as well fully utilise..hehz..

some images of de foodie...yummy yummy!!

one thing i like about this place is de ever so ENGRISH cutlery!! the tea definitely taste better from these sweet floral teapots..hehz

it's pretty rare to come out as a whole family together, bringing BB zavier along, how can we not take a family photo? hehz...

that's Nai Nai with BB Zavier..

after the high tea, it's a par tor day for us! we seldom go out and par tor, cos i ish juz so nua...so going out once in a while really makes it special. look at how much fun we're having...hehezzz..

Sat night is anor soccer night for de guys...Uncle Des watching the Man U match with his friend @ Wave while i have iphone to keep me entertained...
this time round it's Sally's Salon...lolx.

Oooh and the fruit beer here ish beri nice! beri smooth!!
we tried the level 2 buffalo wings..cos level 4 was sold out..ji dan gao..
and it SUCKES!! it tasted so sour than spicy..Zzzzzz

guess tt's about all folks, i'm blogging this while taking a short break from my work..
ooh i'll be posting Halloween @ Night Safari photos soon..once i've gotten hold of the photos that is.
stay tune!!

Doraemon the Movie: Nobita's Mermaid Legend is coming to Singapore!

pretty outdated, but i've been quite busy with work ...here's part of what i've been busy with.

Yes, Doraemon is coming to town! but this time round it's Doraemon The Movie: Nobita's Mermaid Legend. i did not post an image of the movie poster due to licensing rights, dun wana get into trouble, however, more information can be found through our distee, Cathay Keris.

Info taken from Cathay website . I'm sure many of us can relate to the heartwarming: "Xiao Ding Dang" back when we were young and watching it on Channel 8.
it's still airing on Channel 8 now at 9.30am every Saturday & Sunday.
Nobita''s Mermaid legend is the 30th Doraemon Movie, we're also celebrating his 40th birthday this year!

As you can see from the merchandise above? the theme's about the underwater world! hence Doraemon is in mermaid suit. I'll try to link up a trailer if it's convenient.

I'm sure for the month of November, you'll start to see some publicty and promotions going on.
As long as you see Doraemon with the mermaid theme, promoting the movie, Yes, that's Andrea's very first licensed character project. :)
