Royal Carribbean Cruise: Legend of the Sea

Despite being uber stressed up with our Big day drawing near and us not having done ANYTHING yet,
we're kind of still looking forward to the well-deserved break.

our 4 days 3 nights Royal Carribbean Cruise.

Supposedly to be luxurious and romantic for couples but we're going with his family and the extended  side of the in-laws as well..a group of 30 pax or so...speak about romance. lolx.

There will be tons of things to settle and really focus on planning our BIG day once we're back.
Another update, our pre-wedding shots are ready for selection!

Gona view them next Tuesday. I didn't know couples on average spend like 3 hrs selecting the photos.
Gosh that's about as long as the gown selection.

Must be cos the Photos are soooooo expensive and most couples are trying not to top up any.

That will be our motto too! Jiayou Jiayou.not gona bring any credit cards along..MUAHAHA.,.
we took about 200+ poses that day..and can only choose 36 out of them..gona be tough le..

Still Drea ish getting all stressed up thinking of all the unsettled stuffs to do..
My Dear friends...anyone volunteer some help for us?
I need to outsource le!!!!

Power Rangers Meet & Greet at Takashimaya

oh yea it's over and we had the Power Rangers Meet & Greet session at Takashimaya earlier this month. and that was what I'm busy with..gosh..

there it was, the 5 rangers disappeared into thin air! lolx...
nah that was when the costumes just arrived..

We had a Japanese director coming down from Tokyo to help direct the movement and choreography of this meet & greet so I’ve been like super busy planning the event and chaperoning our Japanese guests those few days..

Gosh it was probably one of the busiest period I ever had in this company. =X

so there we were at the backstage just before our very first show!

A very different kind of experience and I've learnt a lot of new things managing a show like this. Even handling the nitty gritties such as the music & effects etc.

On the other hand, we're left with only 3 months to the wedding..OMFG!!! still trying to settle the room and then the invites thereafter...

haven't got a photographer and videographer for our Actual day yet too..hehz..for updates, please go to the wedding blog ya..

a healthier lifestyle

as the date gets nearer, omg how time flies, we didn't do anything except for a mini reno of the room and our photoshoot and we're left with just 4 months...

*stress**

anyway both of us are trying to keep fit (slim) or lose weight for our big day so we started our weekly routine (hopefully) = Jogging! hee..

it's our 2nd jogging/ brisk walking session together le. Didn't know it can be so fun jogging with a loved one, minus the fact that you'll get distracted. Not so good for serious training though. haha..
I'd laugh each time Uncle Des comes back for me..can't help it but I'm just totally amused by it. haha...

Ok after some weeks of nua-ing I guess it's time to get our prep started else i'd feel stress if i can't see the line up and schedule..

Just like how i used to prepare for exams, i need to break things down and ensure that i'm in time for everything else i'd feel so stressed out...

Business Trip to Jakarta alone..=(

Time flies, when I first received news that I've to fly to Jakarta alone to attend a Asia Regional Director's meeting, i thought "still sometime to go end of October".

and now October has came and I'm flying off tomorrow morning to Jakarta..
*sings "all by myself**

After listening to all the horrid stories of Jakarta and how dangerous it is for a lady to be travelling alone there, i got kind of worried and excited.

Is the place as dangerous and the people as scary as what they had been described to be?

In anyway I do not want to take the risk and decided to take the very first flight there and last flights back to Singapore.

It's a norm in my current job I guess. I'd rather sacrifice some sleep and depart Singapore at 645am than to spend a night alone in Jakarta - it's not like it's safe enough for me to be out roaming and shopping alone at night there too right?

I wonder what will my  first experience in Jakarta be like...less off the fact I've to do a presentation in front of all the directors, most of them are Japanese. That's so totally dampening.....that's also when you appreciate and understand why do they make us do tons and tons of presentation when we were still in poly back then.

iDAT iphone App from Health Promotion Board

I've downloaded this app from HPB that will supposed help you keep track of the calories you've consumed and burnt to track or aid in your weight loss..

and this is what i get..

Very helpful indeed.
At times I wonder if Singapore's BMI health standard is accurate.
You need to have an BMI above 23 to be considered overweight and to be on diet.

But having a BMI of 21 is enough to make me look and appear fat.
To qualify for their BMI 23, i reckon you must be really round and have difficulty walking loh?

a Wedding Dinner

Been a while since I've attended wedding dinners since I'm not supposed to attend any "red events" within 1 year of papa's passing..

Anyway went to Mandarin Orchard to attend Peggy & Eric's wedding dinner. I got to know them from Lunar, so was kind of looking forward to catch up with some of the Lunar Kakis too..
The ballroom itself was pretty unique. It’s a 3 tiered kind of ballroom where the stage is at the bottom so the couple have to walk down tiers of stairs to the stage.
On the downside, it’s really troublesome especially if you have wheelchair-bound elderlys.

Kind of challenging for the bride to walk down tiers and tiers of stairs too…shortens the march-in since it’s not the typical aisle type of marching in.

That aside, something I wana shout about is the Bride’s Gown!! She has LED on her gown…so cool right..

didn't manage to snap a shot of it so took the pic from her Fb instead. hehez.. i remember seeing this on the news lately with the latest-evolved design of bridal gowns.

a photo with the newly weds..they'd an instant booth ready for the guests too..so this pic ain't so clear..hehz..

Our table photo with ang moh erik missing though...

Being a Lunar table, this table naturally became a drinking table loh...Look at our table.

We had liquors in the middle instead of the usual food for a wedding dinner banquet.
Their service standard is excellent! or maybe it's the staff assigned to our table. He actually took the initiative to suggest serving us our food individually so that we can use the centrepiece to put liquor instead.
He also brought chips and peanuts to our table! ahahha....
and this is funny! the usual 5 - 10 seconds stunt for the guys..after tekan-ing the groom, it's ang moh erik's turn!
Mamee ronson's wondering why is he smelling his armpit too..ahahha.

I didn't managed to get the name of the ballroom but it's definitely quite a unique kind of setting, they even have a DJ console inside loh..
Just that if you're looking at a cosy kind of ambience maybe this ballroom won't be suitable ba..

Heartiest congrats to the newly weds too.. both of them met at Lunar also.
Same as uncle des and me, just that we got to know each other through Mr. Shane and the venue we so happen to first meet was at Lunar..haha...

weekend updates

not much to update but thought of dropping a short note to self on last weekend so that if i ever need to recall, i can always back track hehz..

Friday:
Dinner with de zhus for Sept Babies Celeb (actually only SY) @ Le Le Pot.
Reckon it's gona be our first and last time there. Food is ok but they actually fined us for having 4 meatballs left over floating around in the soup..DUH..

Saturday:
oh it's definitely an important day for us to remember in future! but someone refused to let me post the pic..sobzz...

After Uncle Des is done with his work, we spent the evening at my place cos it's Mama's off day again! = family day for us..heehee...time to play with BB Zavier too.

Sunday

Went to Taka's Crazy Toy Sale - it's the last day and it's uncle des who wants to go....(yeah he loves toys)
shun bian pop by Daiso to get black board for our photoshoot...hehez..

will take pic of the pretty black board with pretty fluorescent writings on it soon..

a busy weekend...

sometimes i confuse myself by having 2 blogs, cos there are things that kinda overlap, between this and the wedding related stuffs..but for the more personal stuffs with lots of our pics, i guess i'll post here la hor..hehez..

Anyway we'd a busy busy weekend! no wonder Uncle Des a.k.a Mr. Keir (hence my blog soon-to-be-mrs.keir) was so worn out today that he look so sian at our trial make-up session...

Saturday's Mission: Get that man his Tux!!

One of the most difficult. You know how us ladies know exactly where to get what we need/want? If we want an evening gown we know where to shop, if we need that pair of heels, we know where to get them too.

And you know how men just have no idea where to get what they need?

Good grief after some research online, I've found a highly recommended tailor!

So tadah, there we went on Saturday to tailor-make his tux shirt!
Gotta wait till Uncle Des collect his shirt then can comment on the quality and all, but so far from what we've seen, it seems not too bad la..the Tux shirt was $75 already cheaper then off the racks outside and it's custom made to your measurement, with your choice of collar, pocket, cuffs yadda yadda..

we also tailor make a black shirt for uncle des that he can wear for work too..at $34 only! wooohoo that's the steal la, tailor make at a price lower then your usual G2000 and we get to choose materials or design we want for the inner collar and cuffs.

Shall post more pics once the shirt is done. Prob will post a little on this on the wedding blog too since it's related to sourcing for the groom's stuff hehez..

After spending like 1-2 hours there (1 hr is the waiting time loh) we proceeded to Ikea to get ideas for our Love nest (master bedroom).
It's our first time at Ikea as a couple and boy was it meaningful, we had our first meal together in ikea as a couple and discussing and getting ideas on how we want our love nest to be like!
So it's definitely something to blog about hehez...

Else i think i've more or less neglected de blog a little....haven't been updating with activities that frequently.

Sunday: Trial Make-up Day

It's trial make-up day and my BFF a.k.a JY suggested to have dim sum brunch before we pop over for the make up trial..

I saw mama at home and didn't realised she's working in the afternoon, hence brought her along for a hearty dim sum brunchiee!
Been a while since we or me took mama out...gona try to spend more time with her and bring her for good food more often.
It's kinda hard these days as most of her off days it's gona be her Grandson's time! ahaha

ok before you get goosebumps, just focus on the dim sum below la...
After the trial make-up we went to Colbar for site recce a little. Actually cos col bar was one of our photoshoot location..nice right? super old school vintage!! RETRO!

So here's showing you the power of a good make-up...
As you know i ain't blessed with pretty or big eyes so eye make-up has always been really important to me and that's how i use to rate if a make up artist is worth her salt.

This make-up artist assigned to us by the bridal studio is pretty good i must say. She somehow managed to balance my brows and also can see that she's really trying different methods on the left and right eye to figure out which method actually helps make the eyes look bigger!

Though uncle des say he think it's not much of a difference from my usual own make-up la..I take that as a compliment that my skill is as good as a PRO! lolx..

of cos she's alot more skillful with the blending and using the right amount of pastels to achieve the watery eye look...

Just take a look at the image above with one side done and the other undone....lolx....

since i'm looking pretty for the day, of cos must take couple more shots...
with the right angle, i can achieve the super kawaii look that most gers like to post in their FB.
Everyone can be a babe in Facebook loh...lolx...

wooho! Got what I've been looking for!!

Today's a happy day!
Finally found what I've been looking for...for both our wedding night and our photoshoot...

due to the last minute rush i've been feeling kinda stressed over the things and props we needa get before our photoshoot and this is among one of the hardest to get item la..

A Movie Clapper Board!
I've finally found it at a camera accessory shop and very cheaply too at a mere SGD20!!

anyway, to read more about this movie clapper board, please go to our wedding blog
http://soontobemrskeir.blogspot.com/2011/09/where-to-buy-movie-clapper-board-in.html

There's a treasure hunt story on getting the movie clapper board in Singapore hehz.

Uncle Des just struck me with a question, since our photoshoot's gona be on a wkday, most friends probably can't join us.
and uhm..since he didn't get a driving license in time..and i'll be wearing a gown, then who drive ar?
ahaha..

okok so if you are a close friend reading this and don't mind taking half a day off on the 12th oct to be our kind "chauffer" for our outdoor shoot and to be part of our photoshoot together (including servicing me...like holding my gown for me la..helping me change heels..yadda yadda..) please please please do let me know!
*sniggers***

Else i thought i can figure out how to drive in a gown? WAHAAHhahahah

the stress here!

alrighty i know i'm supposed to upload photos of our gown fitting session...i thought we had the timing and schedule all well planned with almost a month to get and plan the style we want, his shirt, my accessories, shoes bla bla bla.

but alas..my boss told me i've to be in indonesia on the day of our supposed shoot.
and well, i didn't inform her of our marriage plans yet, let alone telling her about the photoshoot...(actually i was kind of hoping that i'll get to wear my stone on my finger and she'd realise and ask n voila! perfect timing to break the news to her...)

anyway there's no need to already since i've to tell her that it was actually our pre-wedding shoot day...but she did express her "really want me to be there" message..

so...fortunately or rather unfortunately, our bridal house coordinator has been super helpful and nice to help us find a suitable date...i know it ain;t easy cos there're so many parties to coordinate with, your make up artist, the photographer, the availability of the studio and the gowns you've chosen and the suits he's chosen..

so alas! the photoshoot has been brought forward from 28 oct to 12 oct..exactly 2 weeks la!

now i've to rush to think and research on the style we want, cum go shop for the clothes & wigs n whatsoever that we may need.

to top it up, i've to go to the bridal house 2 more times, once for my trial makeup and 1 for the finaly fitting, all in span of 2 weeks la...i can feel the fire on my buttock already..

omfg......running out of time..help!!!

for now if you happen to read this post and happen to know the answer, please please let me know!

1) where to buy movie clapper board?
2) where to buy a pink panther? or if u have lend me can?
3) where to buy a kuku hair wig? u know like the mushroom head kind?

Age and de birthday

Was it with Age?
But it seemed like even though it's approaching, there ain't much anticipation at all.
Is life getting as mundane as we age?
Browsing thru the old photos. I kind of really miss de 'little' celebrations..even at work.
Even though my bday always fall during the hectic comex but a small lil surprise nvr failed to ease away de stress.
I still Rembr clearly de zhus came all the way to expo on comex set up to wait for me n surprise me w a cake n a bouquet of sunflowers! N boy Tt was prob in 2006
Those were the days when u were younger n everyone has got the time and energy to do such
As we age, everything's getting scarily mundane.

What's going on?

I'm not sure why but suddenly I seemed to get swayed so easily..
Suddenly I'm yearning for something different.
Suddenly...I Duno how to express myself so well anymore...

a wedding theme...

i was pretty excited in coming out with a theme for our BIG day...however as days go by and now that the dates are nearing to our photoshoot and it's time that we really confirm on a proper theme so that we can cater our photoshoot and my gown to be in the right direction, i'm feeling stressed out..

till date there's no single particular movie that really caught our interest enough to mimic after...haiz.

i'm running out of time and ideas...

brain dead....

been surfing alot on the movie / cinematic related wedding theme for ideas...but i guess what we need now is to find a Genre or specific title and follow that direction!

Any ideas people?

A trip to Kim mun's clinic for flawless skin

After reading so many gd reviews on Kim mun's clinic for skin care and having a flawless complexion, I've finally made a trip down!

Literally make a trip down Loh!! Cos the clinic is just below uncle des's house! Lol how convenient.
The clinic has always been flooded by tons of females as it's well known for its skin care.

I also realized that most of the staffs there and the patients having the same kind of complexion - clear and glossy.
A tad of sensitivity in it though, due to the use of AHA products.

Well I've nvr been blessed with good complexion and even though it's so much better now but u know how women are nvr satisfied with their looks.

So here's my new dose of skin care. A 5 step product to adhere to;

1) facial wash
2) toner
3) hydroquinone - Sm kind of aha to remove dead skin and lighten the pigments
4) aha solution
5) acne n oil prevention cream
6) sun block

All in sample siZes with total damage of $108.

Thought that's a reasonable price and this shld last for more than a mth.
If it really works wonders then it's super worth the price lo.
Just use SK II as a benchmark, each product cost $100 n above and it may not cater to ur skin condition.
Let's just wait and see the results man..

a little career advancement

not quite a first promotion but yet officially wise it is a first proper promotion in terms of salutations and level...
hmm..what am i talking about man..

Well in my course of work, actually with most jobs I do get a 'promotion' in terms of a pay raise and change in job responsibilities...

when i first started out a proper marketing job,

2004 @ a local cosmetics company I was given a 'promotion' in terms of pay raise and job scope from market research and promotion to business development.
- was that really considered a promotion? or so I was being told it was...

2007 @ IT industry - actually throughout my stay there, there's couple of changes and portfolios i managed. from one product to a maximum of 3 products at my peak. and so I was given another raise and my portfolio expanded to not just product marketing but also product sourcing.
- level wise it's still the same, still an executive. And IT industry is unique in a way that you get commission for marketing your product and this commission comes quarterly in a 4 digit figure. So you can say that it's partly comm based.

2008 @ Canon - this is a very sales based job so you're expected to earn from mainly your commission. Being a sales-sales job, there's hardly any chances of getting a promotion. Even if they promote you to a senior or to an account manager, you're still doing the same thing = sales.
That was why I've also decided that pure sales ain't my cup of tea. Imagine having to run around carrying printers, running for roadshows and visiting sim lim etc when you are pregnant and with a bulging tummy?

Money versus Job Role

Though the salary at Canon is the best and really attractive but I'm not as money motivated, hence I've decided to move back to a proper marketing job and not rely on a commission based job instead. (that is having relied on the heavy commissions for the past 4 years)
Just like what my ex-boss used to tell me, yes being a sales person you earn alot more, but being a marketing/product person, you get to learn more.

That's some truth in it. Unless you are really $$$ motivated else the daily sales job can get so mundane.
It ain't easy for me to switch from a comm based job to a proper basic pay job since most companies will offer you base on your previous Basic Pay.
And of cos it didn't help that I've to take min. of 50% pay cut, meaning to take up a proper basic job, i'll earn half of what i used to earn in sales.

So were the previous considered a "Promotion"?
So all in all usually I do get a pay raise, not sure if it's cos my stay in a company is relatively short, averaging from 2 - 2.5 years and that could be part of a reason why am I not at a managerial position yet? Or do i lack the qualities to be one?
How difficult is it to climb a notch higher and to advance in your career to be of a managerial level?
What does it take to officially qualify a proper Promotion? Does the pay raise in my previous jobs equates to a promotion?

The Current Situation

A year ago when i joined my current company (a totally new industry), i started off in a sales and marketing role, doing some sales and some marketing. And yes I was given some commission too.

A year later, I'd my appraisal done. And that's what I've received;

Finally in my career, I've made some advancement, at least something closer to a Managerial role. Though the pay raise that comes with it is probably one of the highest I've gotten and I was told it was higher then the usual standard % they'd give.

The negative part is that, the sales commission factor will be removed from my entitlement as sales will no longer be part of my job officially.

Of cos I'll still have to cover sales till the new sales person comes in.

In terms of gross income, it's about the same as i used to have commission but in terms of adding value to my CV and basic pay, I've finally reached another mark and gotten out of the previous range.

It's not just the salary I'd be bringing home as I used to bring back a lot more, doubles if not triples of my current, it's the assurance and stability of a proper basic pay as the base for negotiation in future jobs.

you've guessed it...

okz, i guess most of my close friends probably already knew what the news is...
initially i thought of announcing only when it's more "official" (ahem..Uncle Des will know what i'm refering to..)
but needing the kind advices and feedback from my close friends, some of them already knew of it..
so i thought heck might as well just let it out now..haha..

jsut in case anyone has got any ideas or recommendations to share, you are still in time!!

honestly there's been so many of a 'aiya i got lobang for bla bla bla...' like after a deed has already been done..=____=

and we kind of value our friends opinion of the venues etc so i've decided to keep my dear friends updated via a blog.

ooh yes, i've started a new blog to record this journey as well as to share information and to gather feedback...

we're actually in a state of dilemma right now after some recce and all. it's back to the..a reception or dinner banquet thingy..aargh..
both has its pros and cons AAARgghhhhhhhhh.......................

alcoholics

image from http://www.zwani.com/graphics/alcohol/images/alcohol73.jpg

used to be so much of a regular drinker and got out of it.
was chatting with someone who managed to finally get out the the night scene, converting into an office hour job but under the same company as well..

he used to complain on how much he has to drink as part of the job, now he has a choice (or not really)
he actually still goes down every fri and sat.. but now he says "cos now no need to work on fri and sat so can go down drink le loh.."

eh what's the difference sia?

Men and their drinks...
drinking occasionally is fine, making it a habit ain't healthy. especially we all see what's going on with men drinking...

Why are people hooked on the weekly drinking sessions they have with their buddies?
Does alcohol inject life into you or does it drain life away from you?

at least i'm glad i got out of it!!

then again, i was being tempted with Nectarie! promised a healthier catching up at nectarie instead..but you see, NEctarie is just outside Lunar, so it's a potentially dangerous zone!!

Tokyo Business Trip

Was in Tokyo last week for work..it's meetings and more meetings.
Quite a tiring trip it is with no time to shop at all, well most dinner meetings end at 9plus, 10 at night, by then most shops has closed.
Furthermore after the disaster that struck Japan in March, measures has been taken to help conserve energy.
This including minimizing the air conditioning in most buildings and switching off the air-conditioning for certain hours...

gosh, weather's getting really warm in Tokyo and imaging reaching the office without much air-conditioning...eh..

*salutes the locals*

Anyway just some snippets i managed to capture while rushing from meetings to meetings..

Tadah! chanced upon this store! lol i'm sure alot of guys would love to step in...no chance to do so though..

a lovely, french-style cafe for breakie! the tuna toast is yummy! very similar to the kind of thick toast we eat at the HK cafes but 100 times softer and crispier!

another scene captured at one of the popular kopi place called Donutr in Tokyo. Is it so safe in Tokyo that they can use their mobile phones to chop seats instead of packets of tissue paper like what Singaporeans do?

Well wishes or congratulatory flowers for opening of new offices...hmm they send white orchids. the whole lobby looks so solemn with the rows of white orchids and they reminded me of funerls...with those wooden planks with words written on top man.

Snippets of one of the dinners, it was a yummy yakitori dinner.. The Tsukune above is actually chicken meat, and then you dip it in the half boiled egg to eat..very yummy!!! BBQ gingko nut is equally delicious!

@ another dinner, there is where i had an overdose of the daily sashimis...=___= anyway the chilled sake is nice and sweet!!
and the baby ginger was something unique, never tried anything like this back in S'pore. pretty refreshing i must say..

pass by this place while on the way to lunch...

Oh and i love this instant kopi that the hotel provides. quite innovative right? a mini-drip kopi!

a mini landscape at one of the traditional Japanese restaurant. Love the spring bloom...so pretty!

The green matcha tasted so different in Tokyo too. Creamier and so much tastier!
one of our meetings ended early so we had time for a short tea-break before moving on to the next meeting.

Here is where one of our licensor, TV Asahi's office is situated at...very pretty buildings! actually the prettiest part was the brown bricks walls that made it look like a castle. but the trees were blocking the best part!

Was staying in Mitsui Garden, Ginza. A business hotel for the 5 days. Not bad, i mean it's really a business, business hotel.
Room is cosy, neat and comfy, perfect for business. like ya i mean real work, real business.
Cosy enough for a 1 pax without leaving you the empty, lonely, scary feel.

I always have this thing about staying alone in hotel, it kind of creeps me out especially when you are in the bathroom. but this hotel's great, doesn't give me much of those creepy feelings.

Taking a look at some of the amenities, they even have Shiseido make up remover, facial cleanser, toner and face moisturiser for you! pretty impressive i must say
and i absolutely love the face & hand soap. it's a foaming soap!! you pump out the foam and use, so mild, so gentle on your skin.
On the lower right side that's the panel from the bath room, you can choose to make it totally transparent so you can watch tv while in the bath or poo-ing...lolx

perhaps it's the culture or perhaps it's the thoughtfulness.
They even provide bath tablets for you! i soak in baths almost daily , ultimately shiokness after a long, tiring day.
Tried the Rose bath and the lavendar bath..hehz...
Also the thing i love about hotel showers, the water's power really strong, not like our typical HDB, water jet no power one.

a small cosy little room.

Star wars with a Disney Theme. or rather, vice versa.

1 of the lunches, we have sashimi for almost every meals..gosh. extreme overdose on sashimi plus the fact that sometimes i don't even know what fish am i eating..or was it fish in the first place? hehz.
As the Japanese believe, premium sashimi is one of the best food to be served to guests, hence almost all of them brought us for premium sashimi....
It was so bad i nearly felt like puking and gotta eat it with so much ginger and wasabi to kill that sashimi taste man.

one the first day where we had a slightly time again in between meetings and the luxury of having kopi with desserts! the pancake with berries simply fantabulous. The pancake is so soft...woooo...blogging about it know makes me hungry.

oh tadah, so absoloutely 'act cute' pics of me. lol. but i kinda love these pics and how this silk scarf brightens up the whole look and act a touch of feminine to the whole look with a plain black dress. Bought this silk scarf at Mango sale for only $29!

view from my room during the day, and i sit facing Burberry's flagship store daily, with not much time to shop inside. Usually i'd buy blue labels whenever i'm in Tokyo. but this time round, i broke the record of not buying a single blue label!

That marks the end of my Tokyo Business Trip. I've never really enjoyed business trips as it's always tiring and makes you double busy before you leave for your trip and after you come back.
Contrary to what most people thing, travelling for business ain't as fun as it seems. You hardly have enough personal time to shop and have fun, so don;t ever look at it like a holiday or something.

Not sure if that's the nature of my career, i often land in jobs needing to travel once in a while.
Well kind of lucky to get this kind of exposure though.

As long as it's not too frequent, once or twice a year, i guess i should be fine with it...

and oh i so very much wanted to share with you guys a piece of news on what i've been busy with other than work and nua-ing...and i actually created a blog for that as well..ahah shall share it when time is ripe.

that is when someone makes it official lolx...

Tokyo Business Trip

ok here we go again, after post-poning it the previous time in March due to the Tsunami, Drea's going Tokyo again for work...flying off next Monday and will be back on Friday...

gona be a long week of meetings, entertaining, and more meetings.

THe previous time i was kind of excited as I've never attended a anime fair in Tokyo before. Having seen the pictures and all the ra-ra with live shows, mascots and all, I can't wait to be there to experience it for myself.
it'll also boost my other project and aid in my work, meeting more licensors and getting to know more about new launches for this year.

The Tokyo Animation Fair has since been cancelled due to the disaster and my trip next week will mainly be on meetings and more meetings. Now that sound kinda dry ain't it?

Doubt there'll be time for much shopping, I can't wait to be home already!!

an evening of photo fun with iphone camera app TtV Basic

just downloaded this camera app for iphone and Drea ish loving its vintage, artsy fartsy effect..
it's FREE.

Check out its effect....plus these pics were taken when i'm in my uber comfy home wear...

can't bear leaving uncle Des out of the fun, even though he says that he's not in the mood for photo taking..lolx

and whilst Drea was happily snapping around, trying to get a nice, vintage, artsy shot of herself as a new Fb profile photo without looking too "hiao" or "act chio" (like the many FB pics you see from other girls...)

Uncle Des had his fair share of fun snapping a silly pic of me too...

oops, now my 'homely, comfy' pajamas is exposed...lolx...
just thought it's a funny pic to share with my friends..
