What's with De Face?

Just thought this is a must share photo of BB Zavier...

Not sure where he learn his expressions from, but this boy is always full of new expressions that never fails to amuse us. The latest now is the extreme pout that became like the above, with eyes and nose all wrinkled up.
When he's not happy, he'd first start with a pout that gets sharper and sharper till his face starts wrinkling up.

Gosh, the fun of having babies in the family...

Drea has been busying around the little ones. My comin- to-4 niece and 7 yrs nephew staying together and BB Zavier coming over once in a while.
That was enough to keep me busy such that I'd feel I'd neglected another part of my life.

After a few blog hopping this morning, I realised many people use their blogs differently. Some used it to express their inner most thoughts, meanings of life, quotes, lifestyle, fashion, gadgets, their latest hobbies etc.

And that I rarely express my deep thoughts in my blog, it's mainly one of the lifestyle blogs that contain little snippets of my life.

Could it be I seldom brood so much about my life, or am I just not sensual enough to put so much feelings into words, or worst of all, am i just too insensitive enough to feel emotional?

When one is basking with love, they're able to put the lovey dovey feeling into words, how they feel towards the person, how they feel towards this relationship and eventually when the relationship failed, how depressed their life gets with the loss of a partner, how life is never the same etc.

After running through some histories of my blog, i realised you can barely find any traces of these.
Sometimes I'd wonder, am i too devoided of feelings or what...

then again, it's kind of sweet to be reading someone's blog about you with the heartfelt feelings and all, well, envy the lucky ladies or guys of subject in the many blogs.

ok, enough of whining and 'greyness'. thou shalt pick thy's mood up and not spread the greyness around..especially to uncle Des.
Thou shalt not let him worry...we'll live day by day as it goes and you'll never know what kind of surprises life entails.

1st visit to Vivo City....

at aunt's place, both playing with their new toys i've bought for them at Toys R us

finally, the distant cousins met!! Hee-chan loves babies so much, she kept playing with BB Zavier..she'd go "aka-chan' 'aka-chan' (means baby in Japanese)

it was actually ko-chan's birthday when they arrived in singapore that morning. due to the current situation, he did not have the luxury of celebrating his birthday and he's been asking his mamee how come this year no birthday cake.

So uncle Des & I decided to get a cake downstairs and have a simple belated celebration for him.
He was so happy when he saw the cake and went round telling everyone "watashi tanjoubi desu!" (it's my birthday)

Seeing the excitement from him, it made the money well-spent. although it's just a small, plain birthday cake but that made him happy enough.

The thing with the children, especially ko-chan, he is very appreciative of every little things you get for him, including toys. You seldom get to see the excitement on our local kids these days when you buy something for them.

And the fact that he appreciated and takes good care of most of his toys made uncle Des wanting to buy even more toys for him!

really appreciated Uncle Des so much, he's been popping by almost daily to play with the kids and the kids love him sooo muchieee!

sometimes i really won't know what to do if uncle des is not by my side....

a favourable day

i always love it when mama's off and BB zavier will be over at our place...
it means i'll wake up seeing BB zavier, play with him a little before i leave for work and come home for a yummilicious family dinner after work..

and the best part is, most of the time, uncle des will join us for our family dinner too...wootz...which means i get to play with 2 BBs...hehez...the big one and the small one...

went home for lunchie earlier today since i've a meeting before lunch time that's near home...and i'm really so sick of eating out.
Mama was telling the maid "Andrea also poor thing, always eat outside eat until sian already" ya lohz..cos mama is either working late or over at bro's so her poor daughter has to settle her own dinner loh...


anywayz, was tending after BB zavier whilst they cook lunchiee...

de moment i place him on my bed, he kept smiling...hehe..he likes 姑姑's comfy bed!!

BB Zavier seems to know when you're taking photo of him, when he sees me whipping out the phone, he'd give that ??? or expressionless look most of the time, hard to capture his smiling moments sia, must really take him off guard.

Else the moment he sees the phone, he'll stare at it and try to grab it away from me..Grrrrrrrr

Better....much much better.

Things were getting on better..we’re slowly getting to used to just Mama & I in de house without PaPa…

Of cos, Drea is extremely thankful to de ppl who has been by my side…like De zhus & not forgetting 怪叔叔 who has been with me all these while..

He is no doubt the Best Boyfriend one can have, being by my side, helping out thru out the funeral & thereafter, coming over to my place for dinner so that we can both keep Mama company…time has been spent at home instead of par-tor-ing elsewhere or going to the movies.

I’m sure PaPa probably knew that and is relieved that his daughter is in good hands, hence he chose to leave in peace with no more worries on earth.

Even though I’ve been a nua tang who loved to stay at home all along, a lot more time has been spent and catered at home. I’ll try not to leave mama alone at home and keep her company for dinner & because I’ve such a wonderful bf, he joined me in keeping mama company.

a lot of time was spent with de family & of cos, that includes BB Zavier!! he's at 4 mths now..lil boy knows how to flip and is making attempts to crawl already!

Not many men that I know of are willing to do such things, you’ve impressed my family & others very well. Especially when you brought the fruits upstairs to cut for everyone at the funeral.

I guess I would have shut myself from the rest of the world if it’s not for your presence, thank you once again for all that you’ve done. I’m truly appreciative to each and every action.

Being such a wonderful bf, how can怪叔叔 not have a bday surprise that he well deserved? Even though he doesn’t celebrate his bday I still think that he deserved a little surprise, even though it might not be convenient for a real celebration at this point of time. (I’m still in mourning, you see…)

Hence, Drea thought of this little idea…to decorate my car boot with happy bday and to place some simple gifts and his favourite cheesecake in it too.

The plan goes like this “ Drea shall ask怪叔叔 to help her take her bag from the car boot, so he can open up the car boot & voila! Lovely surprise”

And thereafter we went for a lovely crabby feast together with De zhus~!!!

De zhus were so lovely, they even helped to get a small cake since it's his actual day..

falling.....back

de feeling is back again...the same way i'd felt when papa was admitted...the same way i'd felt when papa first came home..

i lost interest in most things, avoided meeting up people...n slowly, i cut down on talking..

'are u ok?' some may ask....a smile covers it all..

either i'm lazy to get out and meet frens or i'm just plain avoiding..dun want to talk about it. ..and i dun like being asked if i am ok. who de hell will really tell u that he or she is not ok?

at times before i hit de pillow, i'd thought of papa....and then i'll sniffle myself to slp...

the house can get really quiet with just mama and me...i've to stay home as much as i can to keep her company..but...we can't really get the best of both worlds can we?

everyday start to be like any other day...and i'm starting to feel like a zombie yet again...

de Sudden Departure

all along we thought that papa was recovering and coping well.
but the bad news struck this morning, PaPa passed away peacefully in his sleep in the wee hours of the morning.

Wake will be held at my void deck for 5 days and cremation on Wednesday afternoon.

at least he no longer have to suffer...

went to visit BB Kaelyn last week together with de zhus, this little girl has grown to be sooooooooo pretty!! i shall bring BB Zavier to go sian her when they're slightly bigger..*hiakz hiakz*
i've already shown my Bro Princess Kaelyn's photo n got approval liaoz...LOLx..

mama has been saying how uncanny BB Zavier n my bro looked alike. when we took out the baby photos, BB Zavier looks exactly like my bro! gonna put my bro's baby photo out and compare with BB Zavier's side by side..


But in the meantime, mama dug out my photos and said that actually cos me n bro looked pretty alike when i was a baby too..so i did this...

Been quite a week, haven't been home for dinner since Monday.
So Drea made it a point to go back early for dinner today, sooo...Stop Tempting me with the movies n din din! ahaha..i'm so glad that I resisted all temptations.

Monday

Supposedly to watch Knight & Day's Premier, but when i got there then i realised that the seats were a little too front for my liking, so Zhuvan and went to have a yummy Jappy dinner instead, an a very impromptu call to Dear Mr. Shane, surprisingly, he made his way down..haha
we're enjoying our dinner while ms JY was enjoying the premier upstairs.
Aside to Zhuvan: so sorryyyy i feel damn bad la! n ok i admit i'm kinda PMS-ing...=p

Tuesday
Shoot cock day! Great session that night with the 'coaches' around, making sure i run hell a damn lot and had all my muscles fully stretched. (such that my bums are hurting as i'm walking now)

Wed
Kboxy day! niceee short session with the shoot cock ppl!!
just that Kbox @ Cine simple sucks! i'd rather not go there again if i have a choice.
n worse of all, they CONFISCATED my famous amos cookies!! & that's supposed to be my dinner, now i've to starve for the rest of the night...*sulkzz*

ThursdayThat's today! Movies and ichiban dinner firmly rejected! Wootz..i'm so very proud of myself.
Promised Mama I'll be back for dinner. ..actually miss her cooking..
The other day i was backing up my hard disk and found a photo

in only a short period of 2 yrs, i realised mama has aged so much.
proably due to whatever she has to do and face at the moment.
taking care of the old one (papa) and the young one (bb zavier) & having to run both places.
The least i can do is to just fetch her as and when i can. but there's only so little i can do.
sometimes i start to wonder again, how can i give her a better life...
will changing back to a higher paying job help? ?

Happy 1st Mth BB Zavier Baobei.

Time flies, today is BB Zavier's 1st full month on earth!!
this boy has grown tremendously over this 1 mth and boy has he grown so much longer! he loves to stretch and always stretch till his face is all red.
But apparently this is very good for him, helps him grow longer, he'll be a tall boy in future i guess.

Can't wait to knock off tonight so I can go see my BB Zavier, papa will be happy today, it's gona be the first time he sees his grandson. =)

Say Hi to my Nephew BB ZAVIER~!!

The birth of a new life always bring bundles of joy to everyone around, especially within the family.

My nephew, BB Zavier has finally came into this world, he arrived 2 wks before his EDD and came at a whopping 3.16kg! woohoo healthy lil baby!!

Just the night before, my Da sao, Bro and mum were still squeezing in my room, watching 倚天屠龙记 in my small little room, it felt so warm and cosy back then and we're taunting BB Zavier to come out. rather they were taunting him to come destroy my things when he's out...

also we're trying to figure out how to make space in my room for BB Zavier's cot if we were to put him over at my place...

de very nxt morning, BB Zavier is OUT!! SO OBEDIENTTTTTTTTTTTT...

Family

U probably received this before, then again, it's always good to act as a reminder for most of us..somehow this brought tears to my eyes..

when i was doing this, i realised, the last family photo we had was during my brother's wedding and that was 3 yrs ago...i mean look at how fat i was u can tell how long ago that is..

back then, papa was still considered healthy, he can at de very least walk, go drinking..bla bla though he gets irritating at times but i'm sure he was so much happier back then..

looking at him now...somehow it pains me....

A Different CNY

very de boring...we'd reunion lunch instead of dinner, and after that i've basically nothing to do at all~! =(
everyone else is busy with their reunion din din....

on the brighter side of it, i finally got to pack and vacuum my car!! woootz!!
feeling a little more hardworking today, i even packed my 1 of my wardrobes...*giggles* Feel so proud neh!~

tot i can skip some visiting this yr, but papa's side has been so traditional, i reckon i beta follow my bro for some visitings..thank god i kept spare new clothes in my wardrobe.

perhaps i've been lucky once again, haven't even start to take a break officially and i've some job offers on hand.

decided to sit back and take it slowly....can't wait for my last day to come..and i shall be a professional nua tang for the time being...woohoo~!!

papa is coming back today...for good! like finally after 10 mths of stay in the hospital.

i hope at least mama will not be that worn out rushing to the hospital everyday.

i have not sat on this wheelchair but according to mama, it's very comfy..she's been playing with it last nite! wheeling abt the living room just like a kid! *faintzz**
this yr's reunion dinner will somehow be very different. i know it'll be a sad one cos papa will prbably be crying and things like that...somehow i'm starting to dislike all festive seasons....
the gd thing is, Vday clashes with CNY, as such the novelty of Vday has been effectively covered by CNY stuffs...hence u can't really see or feel the vday atmospher..thank god for that.
this yr's Vday shall be de same as last, i shall stay at home n be a gd ger! it used to matter to me if i've a date or if i'm gona receive any flowers, perhaps it doesnt matter as much now...
