TaBBie's Bday Cake I've made for him and some other doggies at one of the doggies gatherings in 2005.

The cake was a failure cos i think it looks like shit but then again, the dogs LOVE em...the best part about baking / cooking for doggies, they won't complain about your cooking!

Weather has been bad and i'm still feeling a little under the weather on and off, and the weird thing is, i'm actually ok when it's after work. LOLX.
must be the bad air in the office, made my nose so stuffy...

JY's 21st Again Bluey Party Last Last Friday~!

okz as promised, pictures paint a thousand words, save my typing okzz...i think some of the photos can't really be seen in FB also due to high level of privacy LOLx...

Though the original cake that I've pre-ordered - her fav pistachio white chocolate customised with her name - was smashed while the bartender was taking it out and the sad thing was, I didn't even take a pic of that BEAUTIFUL CAKE LA!!!

The cake was meant to be a surprised, to be out together with the Birthday song.
BUT due to all the commotion while the bday song was being played, it was no longer a surprise...=( sadz.

But the good thing was, JY had her bday song sang twice!! and the 2nd time, it was dedicated specially to JUST HER!! ..JA JA JA JANICEEEEeeee....*giggles** Now u're also pretty high profile le, i'm quite sure most of the Lunar Band knows you! ahhhaaah...
and also thanks to Adrian for all the timely arrangement for the bday song and the bother to even explain to the band why they DIE also have to sing the song again for our JA JA JA JANICEEEEEE....

my dearest bff, i hope u had had a fantastic bluez nite with us! and a memorable one at Lunar =)
at least the bear managed to still add up to the surprise. hahaha

actually de Zhus were 1 of the most sporting one hor? we all really come in BLUE LEH!!

Though de bday ger didn't end up drunk that night, still it was a fantastic celebration. cos we're juz too nice to make our 10yr old friend drunk.

but the next person in line, sorry i think it's time we make a difference! Wahaha.

TAN SHI AN!! Your Bday i've got it all planned out for you!!! we'll get a hotel room at Novotel too!! so no worries about having to go back home in a drunken state ya! LOLxx....

random thoughts..

perhaps it's the weather, perhaps it's the bad air in office...either way, i almost fell sick!
gosh...thank god ample care was taken to suppress the bad throat, the slight cough and an irritated eye.

but the worst part of all these was not being able to see bb zavier this week. =(

it's not the right time to fall sick, firstly even if i get an mc, it'd be an unpaid mc still cos it's just 2 months into my job and 1 more month to confirmation.

furthermore, there's no need to elaborate on the Xinku-ness on being ill, let alone the distance i've to keep from bb zavier.

and when one is sick, you can't help it but feel helpless and start to self pity why is there no one ard to take care of u, there'll be a sudden urge to yearn for a somebody there.
I used to have Mama, but these days, i dare not even tell her if I'm sick, she has enough things on her mind and enough people to take care of...

must be the sunday blues setting in, are you ready for a new week starting from tomorrow?
I'd enjoyed my simple weekend, it's not what you do, but the company that matters.

and best of all, my BFF is backieee.....no worries, as i said, there's no surprises, no changes for you,
everything remained status quo =)

Been quite a week, haven't been home for dinner since Monday.
So Drea made it a point to go back early for dinner today, sooo...Stop Tempting me with the movies n din din! ahaha..i'm so glad that I resisted all temptations.

Monday

Supposedly to watch Knight & Day's Premier, but when i got there then i realised that the seats were a little too front for my liking, so Zhuvan and went to have a yummy Jappy dinner instead, an a very impromptu call to Dear Mr. Shane, surprisingly, he made his way down..haha
we're enjoying our dinner while ms JY was enjoying the premier upstairs.
Aside to Zhuvan: so sorryyyy i feel damn bad la! n ok i admit i'm kinda PMS-ing...=p

Tuesday
Shoot cock day! Great session that night with the 'coaches' around, making sure i run hell a damn lot and had all my muscles fully stretched. (such that my bums are hurting as i'm walking now)

Wed
Kboxy day! niceee short session with the shoot cock ppl!!
just that Kbox @ Cine simple sucks! i'd rather not go there again if i have a choice.
n worse of all, they CONFISCATED my famous amos cookies!! & that's supposed to be my dinner, now i've to starve for the rest of the night...*sulkzz*

ThursdayThat's today! Movies and ichiban dinner firmly rejected! Wootz..i'm so very proud of myself.
Promised Mama I'll be back for dinner. ..actually miss her cooking..
The other day i was backing up my hard disk and found a photo

in only a short period of 2 yrs, i realised mama has aged so much.
proably due to whatever she has to do and face at the moment.
taking care of the old one (papa) and the young one (bb zavier) & having to run both places.
The least i can do is to just fetch her as and when i can. but there's only so little i can do.
sometimes i start to wonder again, how can i give her a better life...
will changing back to a higher paying job help? ?

Wootz A Media Goodie Bag from IAH

for those who doesn't know IAH, they're doing lots of games in Singapore. Even games by Blizzard such as StarCraft, Warcraft, World of Warcraft, Dragonica etc.

Anywayz, went ot their office earlier this week, woa i like their office, nicely decorated by the games posters, with anime characters as wall mural. niceee!

Look what's inside the goodie bag, of cos amidst the files and brochures as well as press releases there were some cutesy items too...

shall download the games and try, hee Dragonica is one of the games included.

head of the Animal Kaiser machines that took Singapore's kids with a storm? well it's the machine you can see at 7-11 where kids will bring their whole collection of cards and try to battle with each other to win rare , shiny cards.

this magnet is uberly Cuteeeeee, i think the game is pretty cute too, reminds me of maplestory. shall try and let you guys know, alternatively, you can go download and play too, juz go google for Dragonica ya, its a game client type of game.

these were just some of my fav from the bag, they do have other stuffs like car decals and oh, i've got a 1-for-1 sundae voucher from Swensens too!! who wants eat Swensens!!??? hehe

Ok just a short one, more like a Tweet post, was talking with Mr. Qilong aka our snr designer outside, we were on this GF / BF topic.

Cos my client from Bandai just popped by our office for a short while to pass us some samples.
Speaking about which, Drea ain't exactly expecting guests, so I was happily flip flopping ard the office with my uber BLING BLING huge hair clip with my fringe clipped up and the best part of it, I was eating an ice cream.
So Drea turned around with an ice-cream stick in her mouth, u can imagine how the scene looked like.
Took me a while to realise who the person was! gosh..heng my reaction ish fast, took out the ice cream stick and dumped it..buahaha

ok back to the conversation, as we were saying like see some guys may look so quiet, guai guai, and 斯文, the GF ish damn chio! then i was telling him that opposite attracts.
It's like i'm known to be more out-going and fun kind, wherereas the bfs i had had were pretty the opposite. =X

and so He made this comment, "but from what I see, you have a very good temper"
WAHaahha..that made me burst out laughing..
you guys had been laughing hearing this right? that's the kind of comments I've been getting from people, even my dealers and the harvey managers.
When i told them, nah, my temper used to be very bad, they 当我在放屁 leh...

anywayz, i was trying to tell him actually my temper ain't that good, but he stood firm on his observations, from how i behave in office and from the time we went Kbox and everyone was late but i ain't the very least pissed off or what, given others, they would have been kpkb-ing and hopping mad.

Aiya i chin chai one ma, 难得大家出来玩，为何要那么绍兴. cos of such little issues, why get ourselves upset over man, and i know how to entertain myself..

A simple Saturday..

Met up with dearest sweety BFF for cakes @ Nectariee!! so healthy can, although Nectarie is just next to Lunar, I'm so proud that throughout (as long as Jy & Shane is still there), i did not go inside Lunar..other then using the ladies there with JY..heehee..

Their cheesecakes there were superb! realise that i only higlight the cheesecakes? the rest were...erm...normal? and according to JY their standard for Tiramisu has dropped. Perhaps we were a little sway, they're trying to keep their stocks low at the moment due to a renovation taking place end of this month.

As such, my fav peony tea was Out of stock!! *SADZZ**
Shall wait till July till Drea will be back for her PEONY Tea..fantabulous companion with cheesecakkieees..!!

of cos i did went inside Lunar for a while afterJY and shane left, cos Nectarie closes at 2am.
It was Rui's 21st bday and she went on to Lunar after her celebration, she was drunk by the time i got in, so yea, there i was for a while to help take care of her for a little while before her friends managed to send her back.

A Fantastic Friday Indeed...

Work "ended' early for Drea, after going to Taka with the boss and 2 colleagues for a digimon event coverage, i went on to PC show...


gosh, Drea ish so excited and happy going from booths to booths, seeing and catching up with all the familar faces..hehehe..all my friends were THERE!!! i guess it takes time for me to distant from the show..it's like the whole world ard me were busy with the show and ya, i felt so left out.

anywayz, being there is good enough too..heee..

Tadah! the Donut Boyz @ Canon Redemption..lolx, bought some donuts for them...

and i kinda like how i look today, quite different from the usual looks...tadah!

After the very pleasant catching up with all de familar faces at the PC show, an elated Drea went for a yummy thai dinner and watched Prince of Persia thereafter...

Prince of Persia was quite a nice show, eh, can watch ba i guess...

Some 10 yr old friend flew kite, supposedly to join us for the movie but work held him back, and ya..so the story goes...kinda expected.

and so, being a 10 yr old good friend, Drea went on to Nana to join him for a while..lolx...

that sums up a seemingly simple and yet eventful friday for Drea..i ish so de happy...=)
