A simple Saturday..

Met up with dearest sweety BFF for cakes @ Nectariee!! so healthy can, although Nectarie is just next to Lunar, I'm so proud that throughout (as long as Jy & Shane is still there), i did not go inside Lunar..other then using the ladies there with JY..heehee..

Their cheesecakes there were superb! realise that i only higlight the cheesecakes? the rest were...erm...normal? and according to JY their standard for Tiramisu has dropped. Perhaps we were a little sway, they're trying to keep their stocks low at the moment due to a renovation taking place end of this month.

As such, my fav peony tea was Out of stock!! *SADZZ**
Shall wait till July till Drea will be back for her PEONY Tea..fantabulous companion with cheesecakkieees..!!

of cos i did went inside Lunar for a while afterJY and shane left, cos Nectarie closes at 2am.
It was Rui's 21st bday and she went on to Lunar after her celebration, she was drunk by the time i got in, so yea, there i was for a while to help take care of her for a little while before her friends managed to send her back.

very much quite a goner, and Gabriel was saying like 'heng i was never ever drunk till this state' Thanks a, even if i'm drunk to that state i'd make sure that you'll never ever see! lolx...

nah I'd either get damn hyper whenever i'm high and when my head starts to spin, i'll kpkb about going home..lolx.

it was a nice, simple evening or rather night, sipping tea, eating cakeys at clarke quay...minus half the time JY was hooked on Shane's Bird.

even though we were sitted outside, we still had had no lack of 'guests' popping by for a smoke, sitting with us for a while..lolx

A Fantastic Friday Indeed...

Work "ended' early for Drea, after going to Taka with the boss and 2 colleagues for a digimon event coverage, i went on to PC show...


gosh, Drea ish so excited and happy going from booths to booths, seeing and catching up with all the familar faces..hehehe..all my friends were THERE!!! i guess it takes time for me to distant from the show..it's like the whole world ard me were busy with the show and ya, i felt so left out.

anywayz, being there is good enough too..heee..

Tadah! the Donut Boyz @ Canon Redemption..lolx, bought some donuts for them...

and i kinda like how i look today, quite different from the usual looks...tadah!

After the very pleasant catching up with all de familar faces at the PC show, an elated Drea went for a yummy thai dinner and watched Prince of Persia thereafter...

Prince of Persia was quite a nice show, eh, can watch ba i guess...

Some 10 yr old friend flew kite, supposedly to join us for the movie but work held him back, and ya..so the story goes...kinda expected.

and so, being a 10 yr old good friend, Drea went on to Nana to join him for a while..lolx...

that sums up a seemingly simple and yet eventful friday for Drea..i ish so de happy...=)

Dinner with our Japanese Boss

kind of impromptu dinner with our Japanese boss, he's back in town for 3 days.

Initially i'd planned to be home for dinner so that I can deliver the tonic to my Da Sao and to send mama to see BB Zavier too..

but who knows boss jio dinner, moreover all the new colleagues ain't going so it's just gona be our Snr Designer, my boss and our Japanese boss, so being the nice Drea who's a typical marketing person with PR skills, I agreed to join them for dinner.

Not nice ma, like no new staffs going and ya, since I'm driving i can send them all down.

So there we were at Intercontinental Hotel's Japanese Restaurant for dinner.

The food's not too bad, sashimi's fresh , just that the slices were kind of thickly sliced, a disappointment for such a ATAS Japanese restaurant, and the menus doesn't come with any pictures at all, it's just pure words.

However, their Toufu is ultra smooth and nice, most of the food is nice with the exception of the sashimi's that's a tad too thickly sliced.

Check out the wagyu beef in the pic, this plate of beef alone costs $45.00. =__=. but it's oh my, so succulent and juicy...wootzzz...

Service and all is good (not sure if it's cos we've a Japanese at our table)

and the dessert..omfg, Toufu Cheesecake is FANTABULOUS!

Well i've always loved Japanese Toufu Cheesecake.

In my opinion, I'd think the food there is kind of overpriced. I wouldn't go there to eat if it's not on the house.

Sato-san, our Japanese boss, likes the food there, their wasabi is freshly grinded too.

Made a mistake to ordered Asahii beer, either I'm quite thirsty or somehow the dishes went on perfectly with the beer, I kinda drank a tad too fast that made Sato-san commented "Oooh, you are a good drinker!!"

Despite my numerous protest and countless numbers of "No-no-noss.." he still insisted he can tell.

Arrgh..MISTAKE!!!

Anywayz, Drea was all-so-nice yesterday. I'd my hair bunned up and my boss went like 'wow today you set your hair neh..."

No choice ma, boss coming, so must bun up swee swee mah..LOLX..

Ok, not exactly a flattering pic, makes my forehead looks even more like a Luo Han fish, but, the point here is, check out the hair la, should have took a photo of the back..hahaha

Happy 1st Mth BB Zavier Baobei.

Time flies, today is BB Zavier's 1st full month on earth!!
this boy has grown tremendously over this 1 mth and boy has he grown so much longer! he loves to stretch and always stretch till his face is all red.
But apparently this is very good for him, helps him grow longer, he'll be a tall boy in future i guess.

Can't wait to knock off tonight so I can go see my BB Zavier, papa will be happy today, it's gona be the first time he sees his grandson. =)

The A Team Gala Premier

Went for THe A Team's Gala Premier last night at Lido, again, courtesy of Warner Bros / 20th Century Fox.
This show changed my impression totally! initially i'd thought it's gona be one of those boring army shows like Blk Hawk Down..but god i was so very wrong.
this show is damn nice la, it's simply Hilarious and full of actions an excitements!
it was so good that at certain point, there were clappings amidst the laughters!
if i were to rate it, i'd give it a 5 upon 5. i've never laughed this much at movies man.
Go watch it! you won't regret it. Don't judge a movie by its POSTER! i know the poster looks boring, very misleading.

And so, after the Saturday Night Fever @ Lunar, Drea went back at 5 plus in the morning, and went to bed only at 6plus am..(cos being the very nice friend Drea is, she has to chat with her KOPI BFF on the phone while the person is driving back cos he's afraid he may just doze off...)

Of all times, it rained heavily..DUH..what a dampener, some of the boxes were wet..=(


So..we decided to stop by Bro's place for a while to avoid the rain, and also Drea can play with BB Zavier..hee.

She is an experienced and very good singer, beri powderful, her stint with Lunar has been pretty short and she only sings on Wed, Fri n Sat.
Well, here's wishing the best for her future endeavours.
other than her singing, her Memory impresses me! all she need is juz one introduction and she actually remembered most names! wootz..

as usual, i'd De Zhus for the bestest company! wootz...and the new member onboard - my 学长! lolx..we're from the same pri. sch...

i think it was also one of the nights i've catched so much with Princey Jai, it's been so long since we catch up man..it was fun screaming "SHUDDUP" outside Lunar with him..buahaah

5th June, Sat - anor Saturday night Fever @ Lunar

This time round, BFF JY couldn't join, she's having fun bbq-ing and pushing ppl into the pool than to be bothered with her 10yr old bff @ lunar..=p

But nonethless, it wa a fun night, and best of it cos...MAmee ronson came down too!! actually didn't plan to go Lunar, but cos it's Adrian's bday..and ya..he text me saying i flew kite, didn't go down on friday night when they celebrated his bday....*Oopsiee..**

Relaxing Friday....

okz, went to UIP for a meeting at Scotts road earlier today...well I'm quite looking forward to the 3D movie of the Last Airbender after our discussion and hearing about the effects on all the elements etc.

The Last Airbender will be launched on the 5th August 2010.
in anywayz, they gave us this DESPICABLE ME presskit - super cute la...it insipired me to watch the trailer online..freaking funny, opening eh..sometime in July.

*praying that UIP will invite us for the gala premier too..**

tadah! it's the kind of press keep whereby ppl may just keep even after it's release cos it's juz so cute! perfect to display on your working desk or rather stuck on the cubicles or sth...

and then, boss not around..so..we play la! lol, one of my colleague took out the power rangers gloves..n VOILA!!

Marmaduke's Gala Premier

On Tuesday, went for Marmaduke's Gala Premier...invites were courtesy from 20th Century Fox.
we were given a pair of ticket and i totally forgot about the date man..
thank god i'd a 10yrs old BFF i simple adored, even though i told her abt it only the night before, she agreed to be my HOT DATE for the premier..*giggles..**

Verdict on the movie: a light heartening movie and if you love dogs, you'll enjoy this movie. it featured lots of Unique breeds such a Chinese crested, and oh my...Afghan hounds too...
A cheery movie to help you destress and bring some laughters to you after a hard day or hard week at work. perhaps some may find it's not worth it for a weekend movie, so watch it on weekdays ya...

a piece of uncut watermelon

didn't went out for lunch the other day, so my boss decided to buy some fruits back for me...

i assumed that the fruits would have been cut, but horrors fo horrors, the watermelon comes in full slices and to make it worse, the slice is quite thick. else i could have easily break them into halves before attempting to sink my teeth in them.

This 2 pieces of watermelon took me 15mins to finish, cost me half a box of tissue and stained most of the paper on my table. how nice..

moral of the story, if you want to eat watermelon slices, then make sure it's been sliced thinly...or rather, if u want to buy Fruits for Drea, please make sure it's CUT UP!!! i dun want SLICED thickly fruits...thank you.........
