New Found Beauty!!!

finally went for Eyelash Extension!

has been using false eyelashes for a long time...but decided to try extension for a change.
One bad things about false eyelashes is, when u remove it, it's gone! ur eyes look so bare and naked suddenly!

whereas with extension, it sorta stays there day and night and for weeks! but really gotta take ultra good care of it to ensure it last for as long as possible.

i absoutely love my new lashes....imagine now is go to bed mei mei..wake up also mei mei!! with the extended lashes, u can do without Eye make up!

and of cos since so mei mei....Drea gotta be more vain n take more photos...hahah

ok lar..i know super act cute n disgusting...

ooh anor good news...for myself..remember i was like going on this dieting thingy?

lost 5 kg the 1st mth right? till date i lost a total of 10kg!! woohoo!! 3 inches off my waist...

tabbie's annual jab!

hmm actually uploaded the photos 1 week ago just that having problem with internet connection at home..so no chance to post..hee..

took day off to bring tabbie for his annual jab...

and then once he was placed on the vet's metal table, he became so tame! want to bao bao immediately..LOL

he never like us to carry him and always got how far run damn far away...first time see him looking so timid..it was kind of funny..

lil apple's new horn!!!

yeah! finally got a new , louder horn for little apple..
those who've heard lil apple's stock horn before would have agreed that it sounded like a little cute beep...
and to make things worse even when i press on the horn at other cars or taxis, they happily ignored me!!!

and of cos questions like " eh actually how u drive ur car ar?" *points to all those scratches n damages.*

i didn't know it was such a difficult job! got to remove your bumper and all..and to make things worse,

when they open up de bonnet..it was full of dust and dirt!

Guy: " when was de last time you washed your car?"
Drea: " erm you mean de exterior part or this part inside?"
Guy: "ya this part inside"
Drea: " oh..i din know need to clean inside also..so never been washed loh!"

FAinted! buaahaha..


ok really paiseh cos people help me fix the horn and my car was so super duper dirty, making his hands black as charcoal...and to make things worse, my fender and bumper was out of shape cos of this minor accident i had when i juz got lil red apple.

they managed to remove the bumper but has a difficulty putting it back after that...and hey! they managed to put de bumper back and it looked so much better than the original dented one!!

anyway, still have to bring lil apple to fix cos they were saying that part of de engine inside is starting to rust already..think i gotta get it fix before all of de engine start to RUST!!!

wow if they didn't help me change horn today, i probably won't know!

hee..then i got something else too!!

someone gave me his light! this row of bulbs, which is of white light and so much brighter, duno if it's like those HID or sth...
ya comes with installation too! hee..changed my internal light for me..hee...so nicee!!!

mum was clearing her stuff, then she found this photo of me...keke think i was like about 3 or 4 years old..

and there she goes again about how i was born chubby and there's no point always trying to lose weight.

yeah i've lost like 8kg overall..i wana lose 3 more kg and will try to maintain the weight there..
Drea ish happy with her loss but somehow, Drea mama & Drea papa ain't happy..they keep thinking that i'm too skinny now and i shld stop losing weight already...

gosh..and YES they use this word SKINNY!!!!!!!!!! maybe they like to see their daughter plump n chubby just like what they have been seeing for the past 24 year plus..lol

i'm like so cute right!!!!!!!!!! no wonder everyone called me Han Bao Bao (hamburger) Face when i was young n loved to pinched my cheeks!

my voice! it's backie!!

finally my voice is back! ok it didn't really took so long..about 2-3 days after i lost it thanks to all de tender, loving care...waha...

anyway, was quite touched by some lovely little actions from people...

i had like starfruit juice every morning, some special remedy limey thingy every night, some ling yang to drink....all from the courtesy from of my mum!

so sweet..or maybe she did it like hoping for her robinsons card..LOL...

which is de private collection from someone, being the last packet left...and also de least person whom i'd think will be that nice to me..LOL....
but hey heard that this is really good! and i think it's really pretty good minus the taste.

and then i get all sorts of remedies from different people also...and even someone elses' medication for sore throat from his doctor!!!

with all these tender loving care, how can i not get well soon? *giggles***

Drea is bathed in loving care and concern............ really appreciated all de little little actions from you guyz..little actions but it meant alot...

mum's been wanting this robinson card for all de private sales...or when she travel..etc etc..



so i've applied for it in order to get a supp card for her..

it's her very first credit card...

that makes her really happy...mum ish happy..so that makes Drea happy too...



i haven't been really filial or payinng attention to the needs of my family members till recently, i just want to give them a really gd life as long as i can afford...



i've told her to use this card sparingly...
then she went like "i seldom anyhow buy one, anyway this card the bill will be sent to me right"

then i told her the bill will come to me but it's ok i'll foot de bills for her provided she dun come back with a 4 digit bill every mth!!!

i thk deep inside that makes her really happy...n so that makes me happy too.

at least my sunday wasnt wasted away..i sent her to sunshine plaza to buy her things, walk ard a little.....fetched her home and went blading..yeah! blading finally.....:)

Our Company Kick Off Trip 2008

a financial year has passed again...time really flies..
we went for our company kick off trip again last week at Bintan to review the past year's figures as well as to present our coming year's goals and marketing plans bla bla bla...
usually i'm too lazy to blog abt all de trips..but i thk my blog has been quite dead...


moreoever i'm at home today! resting at home, hoping that i'd recover really soon!

early in de morning at 6 o clock....lol i keep thinking abt this song!!
okok, actually we're just meeting there at like 7am at de ferry..

that's me and mojie in de ferry while most ppl r like dozing off inside...

to others, this trip might be just a retreat, team building kinda trip but for the sales n marketing team, this is a hell trip! high stressed and you wun feel at ease..till the whole review session is over man!

that's the room we use for our review...so u like gotta stand in front and present to the whole group...

for marketing, we have to present to all sales departments and the mgt as well..
scary scary..was pretty freaked out last year when it was my first time..this year still a little gan chiong..but not as freaked out as last year man.!

so, there're people wiping cold sweat off their forehands while waiting to present...and of cos there're also people like this...

LOL! last minute preparation!!!!

ok enuff of boring stuff..we're like staying in a villa at bintan lagoon.
the villa looks pretty nice like those private houses you'd see at some ulu places...haha..

i took so many photos of de interior but i forgot to take the exterior image of the villa..oopz..

anyway...here's our living room

we've like 9 ppl sharing this villa..all ladies!!! hehe..there're like 4 bedrooms altogether..
even with 9 ppl sharing this villa, we'd still feel that the villa seems a bit too big and empty for comfort.

actually i love this room de most, small n comfy for chats and chill outs

we have de dining table there where nobody eats there anyway..

the villa's pretty alright overall..minus de scary parts and emptiness..but there's no way i'll pay $1,200 for a villa to stay in man!

actually bintan is quite a relaxing and romantic place for couples also....so you can't really help it when you see this kind of things happening right?

Taiwan Trip

Hee..finally after a long wait..erm not much photos taken also. it's like a working trip afterall..
overall, probably only took like few photos with human inside..LOL..

Landed in Taipei in de afternoon on the first day..as the timing was like 3plus, neither here nor there, we have a day to relax! Yippie!!!!

Oh, there's like 4 of us who went to Taipei this time round, another product person in charge of Hanns products, our GM and our channel sales manager. More people as they have a meeting with Hanns in Taiwan as well.

it's my very first time in Taiwan...we've decided to head on to XiMenDing, since it was such a much talked about place..

here is where we had our first meal...one of the typical stalls u always see on TV esp on Jacky Wu's shows..lol

that's what we ate..i tried some noodle thingy called duno simi Geng sth...and..erm..its not nice...
de rest ate ths "Kongba" rice or sth...think they were saying it's quite nice..
oh but that plate of vege is really beri nice!!!

the ice kachang there is like you pick ur own ingredients and amount, then they do the ice for you..not bad..but a little too sweet...

so this is XiMenDing..on a wet day...it's rainy season when we're there and it's been raining everyday before we arrive..

tadah! my Fav!! grill cuttlefish...u get to choose ur own fish den the uncle there will grill it for you...smells super nice!! ya..i say smell cos i din get to try...haha..too full already!

that's so much for de first day..ooh there's this tomatoe thingy where they insert a plum inside each cherry tomato..it tastes super duper nice!! my FAVE!!!

alrighty, after de 1st day it's all back to work...so we made our separate ways accordingly, 2 of us to the Computex trade fair and 2 to their meeting..

not convenient to post up Computex photos...trade secrets ya noe.lol....

hee..that's the Taipei 101! supposedly famous landmark of taipei...which erm..stupide me duno abt it..till GM mentioned that the trade fair we're going to is next to Taipei 101..and cos there's an earthquake de day b4 we left for taipei, he jokingly ask us to just go to 101 if there's an earthquake..get to the top level..so that if the building collapse, at least we'll be on top of all de debris..-_-


ooh one thing, the taiwanese are really hospital people! very warm to their guest and one of the very good hosts i've ever met..
throughout our 3 nights there, they made sure that they'll come and meet us at night to bring us for dinner or to walk around etc...amidst their super duper busy schedule and the fact that they have alot of overseas customers around as well!

Of course, after their meeting which ended like at 7plus...they brought us to this place

guess what is this place?

it's the entrane of the Chinese Fusion food restaurant! there's a "ji guan" somewhere hidden in the lamp...for you to open de door.

decor was very nice...very fusion. ..great svc..and interesting food.
there's this ice cream made of tofu! quite special...erm sorry no pics taken..reckon it's like damn rude to go snapping photos with like other bosses around? hee...

we took their "bullet train" to Tainan, where one of their factories were.

tada...remember Hanns.spree? where we carry all designer lcd tvs, like apple shaped tvs, pig, firetruck...etc etc..

that's some of de decor in their factory...so nice! and by right no photos are supposed to be taken inside..hee..

and ya one thing i must comment..most of the toilets in taipei is like pretty clean!! much much cleaner than singapore's!!! floors are all clean and dry an totally no smell..i haven seen a smelly or dirty toilet in taipei yet!

the toilet in Tainan's train station is even better! look!

they even have toilet seat covers for u! to be flushed into the toilet bowl after using it..pretty cool aint it?

ok last night in taipei already..defnitely must go for my favourite food right?

tadah..we were brought to eat Mala Steamboat!!!!

and guess what's this? we're told this is the main reason y ppl come to here to eat the mala steamboat...

it's Duck blood~~!!!

ok overall i still prefer singapore's steamboat..hee.. their mala is really just mala..as in u only taste the spicy part..without any soup stock and all..
wherea's singapore's version, they'll mix say the chicken soup with the mala chilli so it's actually tastier...

our last meal in taipei before we leave for home~!

what a sumptuos breakie..hee..de cakes are super cheap there..it's like only $2 plus SGD and it's super nice..

ok all in all, i find this trip ok only..and find taipei average only. maybe it's cos we do not have enuff time to really explore and shop..

pretty disappointed as there has been really positive reviews about taiwan, abt shilin night market, ximending..Wufenpu..

been to these 3 places and find them..-_-. i've only bought like 3 necklaces for myself and that's abt it. i've never been on a trip be it work or leisure, buying so little items!!!!

and i seldom have leftover currencies from my trips..but i still have like SGD100 bucks left from this taipei trip...

ooh, okok i've been back for almost 2 weeks...but was pretty busy with work and nua-ing when i was not working..

and..the laptop i have at home doesn't have photoshop installed..so give me more time for de taiwan photos ok?

juz a piece of good news to share....hee..

as you guys can see, Drea is like putting on weight every time you see her...and she is determined to bring all this to a stop.

She made a promise to herself never to let her weight cross 60kg and never let the waist cross 30..

so Drea stick to a dieting plan! it's by far the most effective i've ever tried..
to try to keep a carbo-free diet!!!

well it's quite difficult to go totally carbo free..maybe for the first few days..but i started eating some carbo thereafter...maybe like half a bowl of rice or noodle for lunch..for dinner, it's usually soup and side dishes...

it's been 3 weeks since i went on this diet and i've managed to lose 5kg!! woohooo!! and about 2 inches loss from my waistline...

guess it's all about determination and self control ya? hee..of cos to reward myself...i do snack still...some ice cream, some cakes...a lil tidbits here and there...

but in small quantity lah....*giggles*
