Woa year 2007, lotsa first time..
by far, first time Dre@ went on a cruise, 1st time buy Branded...so the story goes..
niwae, this time round is Dre@ first time on Mani & Pedi!!!


yeah yeah, i know it's very common, but to Dre@ it's always been on a luxury and a waste of money.
since CNY is coming and I've never tried it before, I've decided to give it a go..
now i see the difference between DIY and when it's done by the Nail Salon.

i must say they did a Good job! else my feet is so gross looking...............dead skin..peels..etc..yucks!!!!

and stop staring at my Veins!!! yea i know they're very prominent

Tadah! decided on a International French Mani for the hands..

and a red colour for the feet..since it's CNY!

it's Sooooooooooooooo commercialized!!!!

Dre@ is practical, so she can do without celebrating.....dinners all the sorts, having to battled with the crowd amidst other "lovey-dovey" couples and against the STREET VENDORS!!!!

anyway...........tadah.......he fell into the commercialized con....... (and i juz found out that this bouqet cost a bomb!!!??)

ahaha..oh did i just say, yes it's a commercialized day? but the bimbo side of Dre@ tells her, how can a girl not receive any flowers on Valentines?
i love flowers........i just love it.call me a bimbo..but still i love receiving one...cannot izzit?
eh....nxt time, don't need to get such a big bouqet and spend a bomb on it..3 stalks will do, can still be pretty~!!~~


well, at least i still can do without dinner and all those crap.....what's the point of expressing your love and concern for the other party only on this day?
if both parties are appreciative, everyday is also a valentines day. why be sweet only on this day?

1 year once? is that enough?

all i asked for is to spend the time with him, and that will suffice....
on the hind sight, the flowers were nice though.........

i can do w/o all those dinners crap..doesnt mean that this day means nothing to me at all....
and uhm...i'm still trying to finish up on his present...wahahahaa...

reckon i need to destress somehow probably, yeah i think i am very stressed up..and yes i know i've been very unhappy.

i always tried to make people around me happy..but how about them?
who bothered to make me happy?

Bro commented that i looked stressed..with my dark eye circle and all..he seems concerned. it was a surprise that the very first concern about me came from my brother


anyway, having not touched the keyboards for MONTHS!!! and haven been to Jam with de guyz for MONTHS AS WELL!!!!....
they even changed the top keyboard!! TADAH!!

thing is...i dun touch the upper layer at all...! LOL

and the result for not practising for so long!! i can't even do my CHANG CHENG INTRO properly!!! Aaarghhh...and half the time..this is what happen...

our vocalist is s000000 professional that he gets emotional with certain songs also..

Something to remind me of my Achivement

It's my First Full Quarter commission, after being with the company for 6months...
ok, it is the first time in my life that i earn this much...(compared to de previous jobs)

i still remember the days where i work 7 days a week, a full time job from mon-fri and a full weekend job on sat and sun..how i live my life like a zombie just to bring back 2k plus a mth...and of cos, after deducting cpf, i brought back lesser than 2k!

ok enough of the boring stuff, since it's my first full quarter...Dre@ decided to get something a tad more expensive than usual (note, Dre@ hardly buy anything expensive for herself...and she never buys branded.)

so where was I...yeah Dre@ wana get something to remind her of her slight achievement...having moved on to a new company, earning a tad more, gaining more exposure....blah bla blah..

of cos i've lost some stuffs..and gained some things...and these are not minor stuffs...but well, i only care about the present and the future..that's what that's of real importance to me.

so look at what i've got...still with much DOUBTS!!

it was quite an impulsive buy..i know i want to get something expensive for myself. i know i narrowed it to either a branded bag or a diamond ring or something...you know, things which most women yearned for...

but first and foremost..i never ever like or appreciate the above mentioned......

i do like gucci's classics range of bags though..hence the decision..
then again...i am STILL FEELING SORE about it..

spending $1.4k on a stoopid bag is so unlike ME..MY STYLE!!! argh...ok girls, it's time to comfort me please............i'm still feeling very very sour!!!!

ok...i kinda really regret a buying this bag..=( there goes part of my hard earned money...the remaining shall be spent wisely!!!!

Danger Comfort Zone

an accident that almost happened suddenly struck me.........

how easy it is for us to lose something we love..its just that we're so used to having it around or they've already became part of our lives that we tend to take their existence for granted..

I'm talking abt Tabbie.(he almost got knocked dwn by a car)..actually this applies to your furkids, friendships, kinships, relationships.....

there's a lot of controversial talk about TaBBie and me..yes he is mine..and no he is not mine..i will refer him as the family's dog...me and my aunts'.

let's just let this entry serve as a reminder to us (me especially) not to take things for granted...and regret only when we lose them....

My Resolution for the year...to let the people whom i love know that I love them and how they meant to me!!! i dun say i love u for nothing....

out of 10 people, 8 has not been on a cruise ok!!!

ooh, it's been a long long time since i went shopping w that Gu Niang!
finally got to try the Kim & Gary Hk Cafe at Vivo!!

here's what we have...

the Peanut Butter Thick Toast!!!
ok it looks nice....BUT not that fantastic..the peanut butter is only at the top of the bread, the bread's not soft enough, it's super messy to it and cut!

Tadah! something new i've tried, Pomelo tea. In my opinion, it would have tasted better if they did not grind the whole pomelo together with the skin.
idiot also know that the skin will make the drink bitter..ZZZzzzZZZZz
(oh ya, tt's me not looking fantastic after a long day at wrk..w my stoopid flat hair)

then i've the Baked rice with Twin sauce, 1 side was sweet corn white sauce and the other was meat sauce or something...
alright i duno if it's my apetite or what but i ate half of it only...
nothing to shout about also..

Gu Niang had this!!! pretty special that the serve this in the dim sum....ok what u call that.."Long" ? i never try that so no idea how it tasted like..
u wana know? ask her then...LOL

the very next day, went to anor HK cafe place with my mgr...it's called Tong Shui Cafe...at river valley road..u know where Boon Tong Kee is?

it's a pity 3 of us ain't very hungry...hence we didn't get to try alot of things there..

anyway..TADAH!!!!

the peanut butter toast is simply HEAVENLY!!!! the peanut butter's not only at the surface like kim n gary's but it sipped through..omg!! the bread is also very crispy and soft, easy to cut, easy to eat!!!

although my apetite ain't there, Drea can never resist things like Kim Chi & Tom Yum..
so...i've ordered the Nissin noodle in Kim Chi Soup..

eh..not very nice...it's too sour and not spicy at all..

their chee cheong fun tasted pretty ok..just like chee cheong fun..ain't it cute they serve it with you sunny side Egg????

oh it's so worth it ordering their 8 treasures tea..see!!
for just $3.80 i think..a huge bottle u get...LOL...
if you're used to taking sweet drinks then i think u can forget about drinking this...
it tasted very au naturale...

alright the rest u see on the table is the paper wrapped chicken...they say it's nice..and if u ask me, ok it tasted like chicken..
then there's the siew mai, sort of special cos they have the salted egg yolk on top of the siew mai...


Will definitely go back there again!! i'm so in love with the peanut butter toast!!! been craving for it ever since then.

This festive season, been wanting to blog and even had pics ready!!! but...no time...

it's been years since i sorta have gatherings or parties on eves of festive seasons, i think most of the time i'm probably at home or something, just away from the crowd out there!

Tagged along with 2 of my colleagues to the fortune teller's last night..

it was the first time i consulted one...before it was my turn, i told myself, i'll take it with a pinch of salt..then again, that's just me, i took too many things with a pinch of salt, and it in turned back fired on me....

then again, i can say i'm pretty impressed (ok Drea gets impressed easily..)

So he starts with a premonition about me actually, even before the reading really starts, he says he just got a very strong sense about me the moment i sat down..
sadly, this sense wasn't a positive one.

He immediately asked if I take motor often..
Something along the line that says something bad (accident) may happen so got to avoid esp when it’s raining or when we have abit to drink and especially on the 23rd, 24th & 25th.

That got me worried, not for myself, but more for him…thankfully, he was saying, it’s just me and not him, he probably may not be affected much..phewzz..

Ok I’m not going into details what else was being said, but I can say it’s pretty accurate
He was saying I always have a lot of luck around me…really one lucky girl surrounded by people who always take good care of me. (rembr the time I rec’d the Writ of Summon? And all of a sudden, I’ve this indian relative who’s a lawyer!! LOL )

And of cos I asked about marriage…he says marriage for me will come early, I’ll get married at a young age of about 25 or 26 (Chinese Age)…and guess what? I’ll be 25 next year!! Wahhaahha
