Tadah! k la i know i very kuku but i've never been there before..finally embarked on this island on Sunday. ehehe...

beri relaxing place with the kampong feel! it's nice relaxing over there away from the city on a weekend. though my butt probably hurt like hell..

this lake very serene and beautiful...somehow the area was being fenced up, he says cos many people drown inside. And a German girl drowned there prob a century ago..there's a shrine for the german girl there

Can someone please tell me about the story of this German Girl? i went to SPI webbie but can't find the story. Regretted not cycling to the direction towards her shrine.

On my way to work this morning, i realised that the train's less crowded then usual.
I even managed to secure a seat after Dhoby Ghaut Station.
In fact, there're empty seats available.




What does this means???



Well it simply means that about 50% of de working population do not have to work today! Quite a handful of companies 收工 already loh...either that or today work halfday...

and Me? i'm on my way to work...what do u think?
Guess what? i've plenty of things to complete by today too...ARghh....

When Retail Therapy Doesn't Work...*Updated*

By right i shld be in high spirits after that shopping spree on friday...then again, it doesn't seems to work this time round...

I was upset...i duno why, maybe it's just one of those days you just want to be left alone and then cry ur eyes out or something...but no, Drea doesn't like to be left alone.....

anyway, i went for anor therapy today...

went to rebond my fringe..*hiak* *hiak* not as if i have much choice cos my "Q MOR" is back n damn i look really disgusting once again with the curly fringe.



While trying to scrimp on this rebonding, i actually went thru a not-so-good service..haizz...
Half de time i'm trying to figure out if the HAIR DRESSER (nah i wun call her a hair stylist..she's far from being one) is trying to wash my face as well while she's washing my hair..

de other half de time i was left looking like a zombie with one piece of paper hanging from my forehead





I thought it's really a good bargain when they say its $35 for rebonding ( Needs Salon quoted me $99 (Cut plus rebond plus wash etc) and Kimage $70

duhz..after they started with my hair den i was informed..$35 excluding cut & wash.

so de fees goes like this

Rebond - $35
Cut fringe - $6
Wash - $16
Total - $57

then i bought a shampoo from them at $22...so my damage level = $79.

I feel as dry as a salted fish suddenly..

Resuming de "Tai Tai" Life for Half a DAy

took half day on friday to shop for Chinese New Year Clothes...
i can only get down to Serious shopping with Sweetie Jy a.k.a Zhuyi.
It brings back fond memories of what we usually do, shopping in town on a weekday, having high tea, having meals at restaurants and back to shopping.

Didn't take a photo of our shopping goodies though (but we sure look like tai tai's with huge shopping bags lugged over our shoulders), Tai Tai JY spent $100+++ in de first shop buying around 7 pieces..OMG!!!

Cos Drea is dying of hunger after a gym session we proceeded to our usual Crystal Jade..i juz love their plain congee....



Boy were we lucky, Dim Sum are still available...we always missed that.



Drea is aLways happy when there's her Fav Food Around...
Whilst waiting for shane to appear, we actually left him a bit of everything..look how sweet were we!!!

What's bimbotic is ordering a kid's meal at BK which come out to be more expensive then a norml meal..*oopz* *ZIPS***

We decided to follow with our usual tradition of going to de CNY market every year...
After my gym, met up with that 2 pigs...ahaahh.

Supposed to go K song but rooms are fully booked, however, WE"RE LUCKY...de ktv called us at about 10:15pm to inform tt someone had cancelled their room. so lucky us get to k-song from 10:30pm - 1:30am...





finally get to check out Balcony @ de Heeren thereafter...



Picture of de first level, it's friggin packed upstairs so we relaxed downstairs. nice ambience, very cosy!! i love de rocking chair. Jy & I have been rocking n rocking till i eventually rocked myself to LALa Land...

Yeah yeah i know i can't drink, that's shirley temple i'm holding ya know...
btw, it's 24 hours...we stayed till about 4 plus in de morning.....
